Alabama Crimson Tide Basketball Birmingham Sport reviews
Great way to celebrate the 4th of July
The wonderful symphony had beautifully performed musical selections that were spot-on for the audience. The sound quality was still very good, even though we had lawn seats and couldn't see much until the second half when it got dark (we could see what was projected onto the big screens).
My only complaints about the venue have to do with the lack of communication and the process of getting cars out of the parking lots. The Shoreline employees were quite authoritarian about what we could bring in, but the business office took care of it and let us in. However, the lack of communication to the security staff was startling.
The process of getting cars out of the parking lots was atrocious. We sat perfectly still for over an hour waiting for The Powers That Be to permit the car at the front of the line to leave our lot. It was a horrendous waste of time, especially with children in the car who were already going to bed late.
This is a lovely, family-friendly event to celebrate Independence Day, but the hassles outweighed the benefits for us. If it is held at Shoreline Amphitheatre again, we may not come back. Perhaps if it were just a group of adults, it would be different, but with kids, there are easier celebration options available.
